LAP Times in Statistics are always 9999.000

Hi,

I hope someone can help me. In the statistics everything works great, but the lap times are always 999.000. How can I change that so it reflects the times? All the other variables "average, speed,etc" are well displayed. In fact during a race everything works great, the problem is just the lap time in statistics.

Hi, which version of pc lap counte you use ?

You use windows xp, windows 7 or other ?

I have this issue.

windows 7 32bit.

5.28 and 5.33c both do it.

My PC Lap Counter used to work correctly. all things were correct.

Now every race is showing 9999 even though during the race it shows the correct lap times. Also the drive and track have the correct best lap time. But the Race doesnt in the Database.

I went from SCX Pitbox to just the regular SCX control unit (ie no PIT any longer).

I have the correct settings in the interface thought, as everything is working correctly. Timing is working, just the save to the database is wrong.

Also I used to get the engine noise when I crossed the start finish line. now I get R2D2 Security2.wav

Not sure why, that was happening when i created another track.

I have uninstalled, deleted everything, reinstalled. Still the same 2 issues.

I see what it is doing.

If I open up one of my races in the Statistics page, no lap is marked as best lap.

If I select one, it gives it the check mark, then changes the 9999 to the time I selected.

Any ideas on how to fix that?

I don't know what your different settings but it's like Pc Lap Counter detect a big difference between the lap time send by your SCX Digital powerbase and the Lap time calculated by PCLC and therefore the lap time is not considered as a good lap.
Aso when the lap time is greater than the maximum lap time (alert lap time in the track setting) PCLC also not consider the lap as a good lap.

I suggest you to check the message part of Pc Lap Counter and :
- Check the alert lap time in the track setting
- Maybe setup the SCX digital interface of Pc Lap Counter to not get the lap time from the SCX Dgitial powerbase.
- Good to know : "get lap time from SCX Digital" only work when you press the start button on the SCX Digital powerbase (it's a bug in the SCX Digital powerbase)

The issue was that I put the min time and alert time at the same value thinking the alert was for low lap times, not high.

Can I suggest a wording change, as alert doesn't tell me what alert, high or low, so may just add the wording to state its a high value?
