Live timing on your local computer

Hi,

Did you know that you can use the live timing on your local computer by using open source tools , to do this you need:

A windows web development environment like WampServer
A ftp server like FileZilla Server

No special setup required for WAMP, after the installation just start the wamp server.
For Filezilla, setup the ftp server like this:






In Pc Lap Counter setup the ftp connection like this:



In your browser you will have something like this:

Do yout hink it's possible to send with wifi local routeur serveur in the room.
And with ftp server on line for alla other the people.

I don't know if this is possible : both solution in same time???

So you want a intranet live timing and a online live timing also, i think it should be possible:

For the online live timing just specify the ftp server address in Pc Lap Counter like you do it right now  (see explanation at http://www.pclapcounter.be/livetiming.html).

For the local live timing write a batch file to copy the file c:\Pc Lap Counter\LiveTiming\pclclivetiming.xml in the folder c:\wamp\www\LiveTmingTest\ and use the windows Task Scheduler of windows to execute that batch file each x seconds.
For the intranet you should probably also change some parameters in the apache module of WAMP SERVER to give access permissions for  other computer/device.

Merci bien pour cette reponse, actuellement je n'ai pas la possibilité d'essayer de mon coter ce double affichage en live et en local.

Dés que j'ai le temps j'essayerais mais je pensais que plutôt d'installer wampserver sur le pc de course il serait plus judicieux de mettre un server FTP type nas ou Autre derrière un routeur wifi.

Se qui donnerait un mappage de réseau comme ceci :

PC Course >via FTP_PCLC> Routeur wifi avec disk ou clé usb (server FTP)...
POUR Accès via http://localhost ou ip_local
+
Envoie en double vers ftp online...
POUR Accès via http://www

Ce qui donnerai accès au routeur via http://localhost pour les gens dans la slotroom et/ou http://www pour les autres.
Ceci dis je ne sais pas si ce type de mappage réseau est exact et encore moins réalisable.

Si je trouve un solution freeware et hardware je ne manquerais de tous vous expliquer.

Après mettre rapproché de personne plus compétant que moi, ceci est en effet possible mais au vu de ma demande mon ami informaticien ma répondu.

Il serait plus simple que PCLC puisse envoyer l'info a deux adresse ftp directement.
Ce qui permettrait de reduire les problem de redondances.
PCLC envoi sur ftp www et localhost. (ce qui n'est pas possible actuellement)
Ce qui permet surtout de ne pas surcharger l'ordi de comptage en partage local en plus.

Durant notre événement il y a plus de 80 pilotes qui non pas tous accès a internet donc le localhost via routeur wifi peut se mettre en place avec un disk nas qui ferait serveur http ou un serveur dédier brancher le routeur.

J’espère avoir réussi a retranscrire au plus juste l'explication de mon ami.

Pour ma part je ne compte pas faire de modification dans Pc Lap Counter pour avoir un live local et online , cette demande est trop "exotique" et en plus comme j'ai expliqué plus il existe une solution sans pour cela modifier Pc Lap Counter.

OK, si mon ami trouve une autre solution je vous la proposerai mais il aurait été beaucoup plus simple d'après de modifier l'exécutable 'client FTP' intégré a pclc.
Surtout beaucoup moins lourds en hardware derrière mais je comprends ta réponse Guy.
