Hi Guy,
Minor bug (sorta). If a car de-slots during a race, the track call only works the first time the car de-slots. So for instance if car on ID-1 de-slots, the track call operates correcly. If the car on ID-2 de-slots, track call works correctly. If ID-1 or ID-2 de-slots again during the same race the track call event does not then trigger.
I have Track-call set for Yellow Flag in Options>Oxigen options, but same applies if I set this to pause the race or Stop cars.
Also one question: Is it possible to have PCLC bring a safety car out of the pits and return it once a yellow flag condition has been cleared?
Cheers -s | |

Did you use the automatic track call or the manual track call ? - scorpio wrote:

not possible with PCLC, is this possible with O2 chrono software ?

| Hello Guy,
Thanks for responding.

Not entirley sure what you mean here - could you clarify?
I can initiate a manual call from the Arduino interface - pretty sure that works all the time but will need to check. We generally don't use manual track call, when we race we simply want the system to call a yellow flag whenever a car de-slots.
Thanks -s

| I mean ask a trackcall via the hand controler , you will find more information on the trackcall feature for O2 here http://www.pclapcounter.be/slot_it_oxigen.html (look at the advanced option) | |

| Hopefully these screenshots should clarify: We really don't have any need for manual track call thanks -s | |

| Hello,
So you use what i named the "automatic trackcall" (generate a trackcall when the car is out of the track). When a car deslot it generate a trackcall in Pc Lap Counter , to END the trackcall you have to push the brake button of your hand controller during 2 second, did you do this ?

| OK this does appear to be a bug with the Arduino interface to PCLC. If the car comes off and I clear the yellow flag by issuing the Arduino [BT09] Yellow flag on/off command, PCLC prompts with the 'go' annoucement and full speed is enabled and yellow flag is cleared. If the same car comes off again it does not register as an off.
If I use [brake] for two seconds then the condition is fully cleared and if the car comes off again it will register as an off and yellow flag is called.
This is very repeatable: * Start race * Take car off track - alarm sounds & yellow flag status set * Place car back on and issue [BT09] - race resumes as normal & yellow flag clears * Take car off track - no alarm sounds * Place car back on track - can still drive under normal race conditions, no other cars slow down as no yellow flag * Press & hold brake - PCLC announces 'go' even though there is no yellow flag status * Take car off track - alarm sounds & yellow flag status set * Yellow flag can be cleared with brake as normal * Rinse & repeat the above
Also of note: Press Yellow flag icon in menu bar while race is running - yellow flag status set and I've had instances where pressing brake does not clear yellow flag but pressing the icon does.
There does seem to be random incidents of the yellow flag status getting confused generally.
Another bug unrelated: * Start a race * Make a false start * End race with Arduino [BT07] command * Without making any changes in PCLC - start a new race with Arduino [BT01] start race button * Car that made a false start in previous race gets a stop & go in the new race as well Only way to stop the above happening is to go into PCLC & press new race (dialog), press OK then start the race from Arduino. A new race should always clear any penalties from previous race irrespective of whether it's started from the computer or Arduino.
As you can gather we make extensive usee of the Arduino interface as most of the time we like to keep away from the computer and just drive. We have remote buttons for start/end race, power & yellow flag as well as a touchpanel by the track for status & control. Having to go back to the computer each time is a drag.
Hope this helps Guy
Thanks -s | |

| Hello scorpio,
You are right there is bug with the O2 trackcall: when an automatic trackcall occur and you not cancel the trackcall via the brake button of your hand controller then the automatic track will stop working. The workaround of this bug is to always cancel the trackcall via the brake button of your hand controller and not via the arduino (not via [BT09]).
About end race via arduino: it's also a bug
Hope to fix these 2 bugs in next version.
Regards. Guy | |

| Thanks for youre answer.
Do you know when the next version will be available?
Do you have also the intention to make so Oxigen options like a ghostcare or something like that?
Regards,
Marco
