7 racers on 6-lane track

Perhaps this question is already answered... sorry for asking again.

We have a six lane race track and last week we tried to race with 7 drivers on our 6 lane track. This means that we drive 7 stints... (all drivers drive all lanes) and each driver has one stint that he does not drive.
This went very good, even the lane roulating went well !
We have set the option "finish last lap" so when the racetime is up all drivers have to pass the start/finish line (just like real racing) to finish.
This results in a "finish time" in PCLC, and this finishtime is very helpfull to decide which driver comes in first of second (when both drivers have same number of total laps).

The problem we have is: The first driver that has drove all laps does not get a finish-time, so at the end of stint #6 one driver is already done... and this driver does not have a finishtime. The other 6 drivers drive the final stint #7 together and they all get a finish-time...
Does this even mean that the driver who finishes in stint #6 gets one lap short?
Please help !

Actualy i don't see clearly what's your problem, did you use the "driver classement" report or not ?
This report should give you the final result without making any calculation.

We have a 6 lane track, when driving a race on all lanes, the last lap, and only the last lap must be driven to the start/finish line, the time is set at 3:30 mins, after 3:30 the power stays on the track until the finish line has been reached, if 2 drivers have the same amount of laps the finish time decides who wins, for example driver 1: 108 laps with a finish time of 3:31.437. driver 2: 108 laps with a finish time of 3:31.937, this means that driver 1 wins with a difference of 0.5 second.

This we understand and is very straight forward.

Our problem arrises when we try to race with 7 drivers on 6 lanes, we set the lapcounter with a ghost lane, at the last segment one driver does not take part, because of this he does not have the chance to finish his final lap, (between segments the power is removed from the track), this means that the driver who is on the ghost lane last, has no finish time!, it is possible that this driver also makes 108 laps, but now we don't know if he was faster or slower than drivers 1 and 2 in the explanation above.

do you now understand our problem? we hope so, and even more so do you have an answer that wil help us?

when you tick only the race option "at the race end, all drivers must finish their lap" then you have a problem because as you explain the last "ghost driver" can't finish his last lap, in fact only 6 drivers will have to finish their last lap.

When you have more drivers than lanes it's better to tick the race option
"at all segment end, all the drivers must finish their lap" so there will be no difference with "ghost drivers" and "normal drivers" , mean each driver will have to finish his last segment lap 6 times ...and so finaly no difference at the race end.
