Using teams for heats Empty
PostSubject: Using teams for heats   Using teams for heats Empty5/4/2009, 00:43

Question...

My track have only two lines

I have two teams, each team have 2 drivers

I don't want any race where drivers of the same team compeat between them.
I want every driver from one team to compete against every driver of the other team
I want every driver to race all lanes

1) Is it possible?
2) Is it possible to do this using "Generate heats" option?
3) At the end I want to know, which Team won

An example trying to be understood

Teams: T1 and T2
Drivers: D1, D2, D3, D4
T1=D1 and D2
T2=D3 and D4
Lanes: L1, L2

Heat 1
D1/L1 vs D3/L2
Heat 2
D2/L1 vs D4/L2
Heat 3
D1/L1 vs D4/L2
Heat 4
D2/L1 vs D3/L2
Heat 5
D3/L1 vs D1/L2
Heat 6
D3/L1 vs D2/L2
Heat 7
D4/L1 vs D1/L2
Heat 8
D4/L1 vs D2/L2

I would like too, to have the same that I put above, but just until Heat 4 (keeping a team in one line)

Thanks a lot.
Eduardo.

You can't use the heat editor for team race, more information about team race here: https://pclapcounter.forumotion.com/pc-lap-counter-race-setting-f2/race-night-with-24-racers-in-6-lanes-team-race-t181.htm

Hi guy, again, I prepare a race and I still need to fix this issue.
Could you help me?. some issues:

1) I tried to use the heat editor, but I don't know how to add drivers to the final list without pressing the "Generate" button.
2) I would like one new option in the "Generate" panel, there you have a radio button with "drivers race in all lanes" "drivers race again all drivers", but there is no option with the opposite of the first option "drivers only race in it's original lane"
2.1) May be would be better to say "Teams keeps its lane" and generate a heat where every member of the team race against every member of the other team, keeping the lane.
3) There are no options or editing possibilities for Teams in the Heats editor, could it be? (may be I didn't notice how to deal with them in this window).
3.1) In the Heat editor, the Generate Heats panel, there is a column for team, I couldn't do/read anything there.

Thank you.
Eduardo.

Heat editor is for individual races and not for team races, the heat editor window not allow you to enter teams but as you know you can import heats that contain teams and PCLC will display it in the team column.

1) It's not possible to add drivers without pressing the "Generate" button
2) Good idea
3) It's normal because the heat editor is for individual races
4) It's normal because the heat editor is for individual races

Thank you.
