In the Scalextric 6 Advanced Power Base, it has a function of PrPit (I think it means prepit, but not to sure) and PoPit (I think it means post pit, not sure).
This function tells the pacer cars not to change lanes after the starting line (PrPit) and/or before the starting line (PoPit). The function is defined in xx seconds (user defined).
So, if you have a pit lane at the end of your track, you could define PoPit to be 1.0 seconds. This feature allows automated ("pace") cars not to enter the pit lane, so there is no accidents by speeding automated ("pace") cars.
This would be great for using the fuel features and using automated ("pace") cars at the same time.
