cars slowing down C7042

Guy............ Found something curious.
If I make a change to the updatetrack/driver/lap screen during a race (such as remove a penalty).
and we restart the race , after the countdown all the cars run extremely slow. Even the pace cars.
The only way to get the cars back to full speed is to save the race and restart it.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? THANKS.....Rick

I will make a test this weekend but i'am pretty sure that it's not linked to the update lap screen, i think it's linked to a yellow flag which is not canceled.

Thanks for fixing the problem..... but there is a strange side effect. during the race if you make any changes to the update screen such as remove a pit penalty or add a lap the next time you come in to fuel it will show the fuel symbol but no fuel will be added.
If you drive off then create a track call, serve that penalty then it will allow you to fuel...

also is there a way to have a priority set to the sounds I would like to have low fuel be a priority sound over all others

I think you ticked the option "stop refueling during track call" and therefore refueling is not allowed until track call end.
Stop & Go is just a consequence of the track call and so unticking "stop & go" in the "update window" is not enough, you have to end the track call also (by pushing the start button of the powerbase).
