Hi,
I was just trying to connect PC Lap Counter to my ninco powerbase. The powerbase should be version 1.08. I bought the following cable to connect --> http://dx.com/p/jy-mcu-usb-serial-port-adapter-download-line-arduino-104322
I took a ps2 cable from an old mouse and connected pin 1 to the rxd and pin 5 to the ground of the usb adapter.
When I try to connect I got several 1004 and 1001 errors. In debug I see the following information (2 crossings of the same car):

If I read correctly I should not have to change any port settings because the software creates the COM connection himself. Is the adapter I use to connect wrong or is my powerbase not a 1.08? (it was sold to me as 1.08) Any help is appreciated.
