No Data Available in Statistics Board

After a race, I select "statistics". The window pops up with tabs and boxes. But the boxes are all empty and there does not appear to be a way to select or add data to view. There is no 'data' to select 'graphs' or 'graphing' from...?

I am experimenting with the (10 lap) demo version using just a keyboard to enter laps.

It is not connected to any detection devices (except a keyboard).

To ensure that PC Lap Counter save the race result in the database the option “Save race data to Microsoft Access database” should be ticked.
