Just got our test system working for Otaku Scalextric. Working like a charm =) Will be awesome to get running properly later on.
Guy, 2 questions for you...
1) Columns of data - i appreciate uploading driver images and car images would take a little longer, which is why the system is largely text only. However, is it possible to turn off certain columns of data? We do a 'blind' endurance at an event once a year and we hide the number of laps from the screen and the position from the Zoom layouts. Obviously if they try calling up the data on the net they'd be able to see.
2) Sort by Race Rank - I appreciate this appears to be automatic, so the race leader is at the top - is it possible to disable this? (Check box option?)
And finally, a suggestion - the file pclclivetiming.html looks to be fixed in it's name. could you provide a little text box so we could rename the file to what we wanted? My thought here is that if you call it 'index.html' and upload it to a subdomain or a folder, it comes up automatically, rather than wwwyourdomain.here/folder/pclclivetiming.html

As you know Pc Lap Counter automaticaly send the pclclivetiming.html to your web site during the first connection to your FTP server but nothing prevents you to manually upload your own HTML file to your website. The HTML file content the code to display the data (base on the file pclclivetiming.xml which is in the same folder of the html file) , If you have some knowledge of HTML you can edit the HTML by using for example notepad++ and modify the code to fit your needs (remove or hide columns, change columns order, etc...) So for example you can edit the pclclivetiming.html and modify the HTML code and save it to "blind.html" and manually upload the file "blind.html" to your website (the html file and XML file have to be in the same folder).

You can't disable, i don't see why this should be possible because it's in fact the same race rank of the Pc Lap Counter main screen.

See my answer to your question 1, copy the pclclivetiming.html to index.html and upload the index.html manually to your website.

This is excellent, you responded with what I was thinking of doing so that's that sorted.
As for the ranking thing, it was to do with the blind endurance - we don't even let them see their position in terms of the race. All they see is fuel and necessary info. hmm... maybe I can poll the data a different way. Anyway, thanks for your time guy!

Fantastic Guismo73 ! ,
i have seen you website and specialy the live timing section http://src73.e-monsite.com/pages/live-timing-24h-cognin-2014.html , it's fantastic and now i understand your question , Here is the different value for RaceType , SessionType and RaceStatus :
Race Type (xml tag "RaceType")
Time Limited
Lap Limited
Session (xml tag "SessionType"):
Race
Qualification
Practice
State (xml tag : "RaceStatus"):
Finish
Pause
Start
Grid
Yellow Flag
The Ontrack tag : it's used for individual race and not for team race , this tag indicate if the driver is currently on the track. For example if a driver race in segment number 1 and not during segment number 2 the ontrack value for the driver will be "YES" during segment 1 and "NO" during segment 2.

Bonjour,
A minima FR/EN/ES/IT/DE...

It's not the "installation language" because by definition the live timing system present your race to the world and not locally in france and that's why i didn't made a possibility to translate the live timing in other language and i decided to made it in english which is the international language. But of course there is a solution: as you say modify the XML is not correct because the XML is generated by Pc Lap Counter, the html is not generated by Pc Lap Counter and so the solution is to modify the HTML file. For the value of race type , state , session type and ontrack you have to use javascript and specially the statement "switch" (there is a example in the html file)
Hope this will help you

Code:
case "Start": txt=txt + "<td class=\"success\"><center><strong><big>En Course</big></strong></center></td>"; break;

The Ontrack tag :
The "ontrack" tag is used for individual races which are setup via the heat editor , this not for team races or individual races without the heat editor. The "ontrack" tag indicate if a driver is currently on the track or not , for example if a driver race in segment number 1 and not during segment number 2 the value of The "ontrack" tag will be "YES" for segment 1 and "NO" for segment 2.
Why not for team races and individual races without heat editor: because there is no way for Pc Lap Counter to know if a driver is currently on the track or not

Rien a faire malheureusement.
