appconnect and controll unit

hello im new to this

just bought this software looks amazing good job

but have a lot of questions how to setup the software

first how do i settup the app connect cant figure that out my laptop doesnt find the bleuthoot off the app connect
i made a workaround with a diffrent BT module that seems to work well

only i get a error and dont know what it means


going to try to figure out the software as much as possible with the manual

but keep up the good work

Pc Lap Counter is not compatible with the appconnect. Pc Lap Counter is compatible with the cu 30352, more information here http://www.pclapcounter.be/carrera_digital_30352.html

ok good thing that i made a new BT module  cost about 5 euro and working like a charm i used a guide from a german guy frank-durr and its acting like a lpt port only works on BT
maybe put it in section on how to connect with PCLC

Which version of Pc Lap Counter you use ?

5.38 latest also used the 5.37d that worked
both had also the same error

I think the problem come from the driver of your BT module and also from the component i use to read the serial port.
With some driver the MSCOMM32 component fail to open the serial port , i made a little update to force the carrera interface 30356 of Pc Lap Counter to use another component to read the serial port.

i tryed the 5.39 version but it keeps crashing (not responding) of the control unit i put back the 5.38 now and it works fine
both versions still have the same error i pressed ok first time but when i went to lpt1 interface for pc lap counter and pressed monitor the error came back i guess the problem occurse some where in the monitor it also occur at the 5.38 version but the programm works fine

Ok now i see, the error message is linked to the use of the LPT1 port: somewhere in Pc Lap Counter you have ticked some options to use the LPT1, untick all these options and it will be ok.

indeed you are right under options under tab recognision (herkenning my version is dutch) and pitstop detection i ticked use lpt port i put it off and now i dont get the error any more
