One of the reasons for reducing power to a car is because it runs too fast for the track.
With 50% selected, when I pull full throttle I get 50% of power as expected.
But I also expected that with half throttle, I would get 25% of power, but that doesn't happen.
Essentially, the power reduction is acting as a low pass filter, so it's like this:
- throttle position .................... 0% - 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%
- corresponding power output ..... 0% - 25% - 50% - 50% - 50%
This means that reducing the power doesn't make the car any more controllable.
Is this intended, or is this is a bug?
I would like it to work like this (if 50% max power was selected).
- throttle position .................... 0% - 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%
- corresponding power output ..... 0% - 12.5% - 25% - 37.5% - 50%
