Pit Pro & C7030 Pit Sensing Empty
PostSubject: Pit Pro & C7030 Pit Sensing   Pit Pro & C7030 Pit Sensing Empty26/10/2017, 22:22

Hi guy,

I have just updated and I am interested in using the C7030's as dedicated pit lane sensors, but I can only choose between one or the other.

I can't see why we couldn't have both myself, for example the Pit Pro does provide for some great light indicators and it's sensors could be
used to pick up on a secondary pit lane area (for example, a driver wishes their car to exit the course whilst others are on track)

Is this possible? Obviously i want to check before to turning it into a request.

It's not possible via the Pc Lap Counter interface window but it's possible by editing the racectrl.ini file:
Close Pc lap Counter then if you want to use the C7030 to detect 'pit in' edit the racectrl.ini file and change C7030IN=0 by C7030IN=1 , for pit out change C7030OUT=0 by 'C7030OUT=1. After the modification start Pc Lap Counter ,  you will be able to select the COM port in the interface window.

REM:
To use older C7030 as pit lane sensor you need to modify your old powerbase C7030 otherwise you will brake your powerbases ! , more information here http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19547&st=0&p=211872&#entry211872

Fantastic, thanks for that Guy =)

And yes, well aware of the mod needed to do C7030 powerbases! Hopefully I'll be able to have video footage soon to share =)
