Arc Pro Powerbase

Recently as a licensed user of PC lap counter (with a layout 28 x 8 ft table approximately 100ft lap length and four lanes), I can only use PC lap counter for sound effects as cars cross the start-finish line where I have a Trackmate IR bridge, when racing digital SSD. I have to use either Scalextric ARC or Magic ArcApp for keeping track of race info etc.

What I'm waiting for is PC lap counter to get the ability to use the arc Pro powerbase and read laps etcetera. Has anyone on the Forum heard whether PC lap counter has any intent to support the only digital powerbase Scalextric sells in it's racing sets that are digital?

Yes, I really miss PC LapCounter since I moved to ARC.  The Scalextric app and the MagicARC are nice, but too much to just run some basic timing on the track.  I don't always want to set up a bit elaborate race, calibrate cars, set options...  Just let me display timing and such.  PC Lapcounter was really great and easy to use and understand - wish we could interface it in with the USB port - to my knowledge nobody has made use of that port - I really hoped that by including that port we'd have comparable access to it like the APB 7042...
