It would be nice with a checkbox that says: "Always use countdown with start button" Also that it change state to "Pause" when race is started. It should also be connected to the Spacebar
Then you only have to concentrate on a single button during the race.

I agree with this request, I awould like to add that this feature should be optional, just in case.

I agree with this too, many times I push the red button (phidget interface) to restart the race.

Hi Guy, did you do this?, I found that the countdown is now working after a pause, but I don't know if you put some configuration somewhere where to make the pause button work as pause and start... asking just in case, I know that you will answer here when it is done, but as this is an old post, may be I missed the answer in some other thread.
