| Hi, new user trying out the software.
I have webcam set up for pitstop as per instructions usiing ZOne Trigger Pro 2.3
Entry into pit is detected and car is refuelled PCLC says GO When I do go the green GO flag is still up, the next lap does not count since the software still thinks I'm in the pits. If I go back into pits it is detected and the green Go flag goes away and I can continue (even though I am actually parked in the pits!)
Can you advise what I am doing wrong with the setup
Should I have a big hot zones for pitstop or small ones? Does big or small make a difference for the lap counter zone also?

| Hello,
Have you follow this setup ? : http://www.pclapcounter.be/webcam_pitstop.html
1 - Add a Spot to detect pit stop 2 - It’s a Single pattern Spot (available only with zonetrigger pro version) 3 - Click ‘set’ to take a picture of the place without car 4 - The spot will run the program pitstop.exe 5 - Specify the program name to execute and the lane number 6 - The spot have to execute the program only when the car stay on the zone during 2 seconds | |

| Yes, as mentioned in the first post, I followed the directions on the website. It certainly recognises that the car in in pit. But does not recognise that it has left until I do another lap and actually park in pits again. | |

| Can you advise if there is an optimum SIZE or SHAPE of the hot zone for either the lap counter or pitzone? | |

| About optimum size : i take the default size. About pitstop problem: i test it with zone trigger 2.3 and it's working fine like version 2.0: when the car enter into the spot for 2 seconds then the spot is blue and zonetrigger run the pitstop.exe program , when the car leave the spot then after 2 seconds the spot is blue again and zonetrigger run pitstop.exe (and PCLC generate a pit out event). I think you should refresh the reference picture of the single pattern. | |

| I have reset the pattern 10000 times with no change to the problem. The thing I could not figure out was the other lane was working as advertised. But the other lane was as described - even though all settings were the same - and the pattern was updated (without car) regularly I tried many different sizes, shapes, sensitivities etc etc Eventually it dawned on me to delete the problem hotzone and make another one. Now both lanes are working properly - go figure............ BTW I have now just bought the program | |

| Would it be fair to say that the accuracy of time be dependant on the framerate of the camera - ie 30fps = accurate to within 1/30 second, and no more? | |
