Adding new cars produces error when starting race [Fixed]

Hey Guy. I've been playing around with the latest PC Lap Counter for about a week now by adding drivers and tracks but didn't get around to adding any cars.

I decided tonight to add our list of cars and that went fine. The problem occurs when we try to start a new race. I try to select the car in the Race Setting screen and I receive the following error:

Car "#1 Ford Escort MK1 (Scalextric)" not found.

This error happens on all but one of our cars, the "Ferarri F430 (Scalextric)". I originally thought it was to with the # sign but the error happens on "Peugeot 408 HDi FAP (Scalextric)" as well.

Any ideas on what is going wrong? I even tried with the latest v4.57 but the error still occurs.

Well, I played around with the names a little more and figured out that car names are limited to 30 characters. Although, both the text entry, car display and car selection errors are capable of showing a car name longer than 30 characters, you can't actually have a car with a name longer than 30.

What is the reason for this limit? Database size?

Hi,

Car name is limited to 60 characters but i saw that the race setting only accept 30 characters, i will fix that little bug ASAP.
