| Thankyou for the compliments...I'm happy to have PCL as race control and eager for any new analogue developments. Power control is with Dontronics, and a custom cable to connect PCL to 5mm infra-red sensors flush mounted below track, with an infrared light source above (see the gantry). I could not get K8000 to work for me, even though RichardD did offer his help in this forum. Dual screen offers great flexibility, and even better with the auto refresh at end of segment...very happy with your product & support - Quote :

view.ini do not content display setting For the right screen (zoom) , display setting are saved in the zoom.ini. For the left Screen (Pc Lap Counter main screen) , display setting are saved into PLD and PL2 files.

Or if you want send me the files and i will put it on the forum Sorry, were still finding out all the file names for the system (Still trying to find the "R2D2" sound to disable it). You can e-mail us direct at matt(at)mainlinehobbies.com. We will also be working on a Remote Track call button. We have found that by pressing 7 on our keyboard (We have a 6 lane track) it toggles between pause and countdown restart. I don't know if this is a bug, or rather a unknown feature, but we will build a remote "7" for our marshals, and share the info or build them for those that want them.

I think you use Scalextric RMS detector, with RMS detector Pc Lap Counter consider lane 7 as a trigger for Start / Pause / Restart. When you press the blue button on the RMS box Pc Lap Counter will start / pause / restart the race depending on the race status. Ferrari send me his display setting but i have some problem with the zoom.ini , after copying the file i don't have the same result as on the ferrari picture. @Ferrari: Can you post your zoom control setting, like here:

Interesting...will you be able to make this button pause the software as well? Have you thought about implementing it via remote control as this would interest me also?

Yes, it will be via a 12Vdc Wireless RF Remote Control System. it won't be very expensive. We have a 120VAC (Mains in the USA) System in place now, and it was only $30USD, the 12V will be a bit more expensive because of the PC intigration.
