Pit-stop Ninco Digital Lap Counter

Hello,

I don't know, how to do, that PCLC, counts a new Lap wen I come in Pit-stop. I have find a place when I can chose this option, but it not works with my NINCO DIGITAL.

It knows, PCLP when we are inside Pit-Stop ?

Have you tick the options "add a lap after a pit stop" ?

I have, the last version. I bought one week ago... 5.02 ??

i test it with version 5.04 (the latest version) and it's work fine, you should download and install version 5.04

I just have upgrade, and it not works...

I have the pit lane next the finish line, and if I come inside the pit lane, it not count the Lap.

Also, I note that if I finish my fuel, it counts yet, the new laps, despite it says at selection place...

Maybe... I don't have yet the 3rth COM ? Sure, it's this the problem... I thought that with the fuel info, it was enought

Finally I get my 3rth COM

Not it works right...

I have seen on debug than when we get 50 XY 0D, Pit in, or Pit out, is detected, but lots of times, we get 50 XY 4D, and then, nothing is detected by PCLP.

This are the type of signal I receive on PC

50 XY 4D, where X change between 1 & 5 ( line A ) and 2 & 6 (line B) - Y is always the right car number - Nothing is understood for PCLC
50 XY OD, where X change between 1 & 5 ( line A ) and 2 & 6 (line B) - Y is always the right car number - Always something is read then for PCLC

X, can be read as Pit In or Pit Out with no reason...

I have tried with different wires, long, short, shielded...

I have tried too, with diferent COM configuration 1200-7-NO-1-NO

I upgrade to 5.05d

Can you help me ?

In version 5.06 i have modified the Ninco digital interface to take care of 4D, here is the link to the pre-release of version 5.06:

I don't know if it's possible, but I think that this types of signals, always should be understud like a Pit In or Out, of Car Nº X
50 1X OD 50 1X 4D 50 5X OD 50 5X 4D

And that ones, with inversl Pit Out/It, for the same car X
50 2X OD 50 2X 4D 50 6X OD 50 6X 4D


But, I have seen, too, now, that this signals depends of our multi-line...

My first multi-line detector, always give me only two type of signals

50 1X OD and 50 2X OD

My new one, give a lots of diferents signals, like I've told you.

It don't know if it's possible, but if NINCO it change the way of how his multi-line give us the signals, we should have the possibility of change how our PCLC interpreted it.

50 1X OD and 50 2X OD is a good signal for PCLC
50 5X OD and 50 6X OD is not a good signal for PCLC because PCLC wait for 1X or 2X and not 5X or 6X but i can change 5X and 6X as a good one for PCLC, is that you need ?

I bought two NINCO DIGITAL multilane sensor. I don't understand, why one multiline sensor ( the oldest ) give me always 50 1X OD or 50 2X OD, 1 or 2 depending of the line, and the other one ( the newer ), give me , lots of diferent type signals...

Both DEBUG give me the same signals coming from COM S/F or COM Pit-Stop. It means, from my old multilane , always comes 50 1X OD and 50 2X OD, and from my new multilane sensor... lots of signals, regardless of wich COM read it.

About your proposal, and for try to make better for everybody, my be would be better if all the signals caming in port COM S/F, are taken us a LAP +, if the X car namber is in it...I don't know if it's possible...

Ex:
50 YX ZZ, give LAP+ to car NºX regardless of Y or Z.
Crossing S/F, it's not important wich line we use... Is it possible ?

On Pit In/Out, is very important the line we use, then :

50 1X ZZ and 50 5X ZZ, could means Pit IN to car NºX regardless of Z.
50 2X ZZ and 50 6X ZZ, could means Pit OUT to car NºX regardless of Z.

I'm really new on all over that things. May be all I propose is not possible...

ok ,i made lane 5 and 6 as lane 1 and 2 and therefore it should work now.
you just need to re-download pre-release of version 5.06.

You mean you have more problem with version 5.06 than version 5.05d ?????

Sorry, but since I have 5.06, two days ago, I didn't tried to play with PCLC

I've only been working with Ninco Digital Interface, because I saw on 5.05d, that my Pit Stop was not working properly

The car detection on S/F was perfect, but not on Pit In/out. Then, I discover then, that lots of diferents signals come from my second multilane, and that ones where not correctlly readed.

Now yes, I read on Ninco Digital Interface the correct signals, but that ones are not interpreted by PCLC...

Please send me the debug file (in the debug window click on "save")

Stupid question: In Pc Lap Counter did you start the race ????

I order start the race with NINCO MCU , and PCLC start the race..... three, two, one, go ..... but no car is detected....

Anyway, Ninco Digital Interface on PC, yes !!!?!?!?!

Are you sure that the race is started in Pc Lap Counter
Did you see some message in message part of Pc Lap Counter

I was not designing the race, with the correct Id Car...

I think that all the problem cames with the diferent signal coming from my new NINCO multiline...

Hi, I've been a long time out.
I appreciate a lot Andreu's and Guy's improvementes here.
We already saw last weeks this diference on several Multilane sensors of ND.
