I was wondering if it is possible to remove unwanted columns in the display?
For example, I would like to remove the Transponder column.
Can this be done?

You can't remove but you can move the column to the right so the column is not visible in the main screen, to move a column it's the same as excel : in the main screen drag and drop the column
