Zoom Window - Suggest Scanning for PCLC installs and show Track Name in config?

Guy, a thought..

The group i'm with may be running 3 tracks at an upcoming meeting, and I was thinking that at the moment we have to give out an IP Address and Port Number....

What if the drivers with laptops on the local network could open Race View, and RV could scan the network for PCLC installs and bring back the track names - Pick track name and away it goes!

Would save a lot of kerfuffle.


Second Suggestion - Since there's been mention of Live Timing on the net, I don't know if you could manage this, but what about a browser plug in - so if they click on something like...

Code:

raceview:[IPADDRESS::PORT]

then Race view would kick up and go to the right settings automatically?
