| Guy, I have noticed that the "Pit IN" detection time can be changed from a minimum of 1 sec or greater when using a Parallel Port and timing sensors for pitstops.
However, the "Pit IN" detection time appears to be fixed at 2 sec when using a Phidget Interface card.
e.g. The pitstop detection option reads: "Generate Pit IN when cars stay on detector during 2 sec and generate Pit OUT when cars leave detector."
Would it be possible to also make the Phidget Pit IN detection time selectable/programmable like the parallel port's Pit IN detection time?
Thanks in advance for your consideration. Regards, Foiler in Michigan, USA

| it will be great if you can change that time also having a pit out sensor. In an analogic track with a pit in sensor & a pit out sensor ( 2 DS bridges) the program detect a pit in & pit out each lap. If i could say the program that you have to be 1 or 2 seconds between the DS bridges for to do the Pît in it will be perfect. | |

| Actualy i think the best way for PIT Stop detection is to use only PIT IN detector with the option "generate PIT IN when cars stay on detector during 2 sec...." set to ON because with that option you are sure that the car have to realy stop to refuel. With PIT OUT detector the refueling will start when the car cross the PIT IN detector and refueling will stop when car cross the PIT OUT detector and so PIT IN and PIT OUT detector's have to be placed near each other , for exemple 20 cm between Pit IN and Pit Out. | |

| Now that I have the phidget Mainline Hobbies kit... can I do what you say Guy?, how do I have to make for checking the Pit In-Out waiting under the sensors? Glad to hear this possibility exists. Thanks. Eduardo. | |

| I found something here http://users.skynet.be/bk274532/phidget_interface.html
I will read it at home, and I will see if that is enough, if I have some problem I will ask you again. Thanks. Eduardo.
