Race End

Hello,

We use PC Lap Counter with DS300 for time monitoring and a relay card to switch of the power on/off the track. This works great.

However if the race is finished the power is turned off and the cars stop on a certain section on the circuit.

Now my question, where can we enter these sections in PC Lap Counter?
I have tried using the update screen, but you can only enter a full lap there.

We have tried to turning off the power after the drivers completed their lap, but ran into some problems because the finish line is too close to a corner, and once the power is turned off the coasts at great speed into the corner and crashes. So this is not an option, nor is moving the start finish line.

Example: The race ends and a car has stopted in section 22 (because of our old programe we devided our track into 100 sections), and another stops in section 34, they both drove 22 laps so the car in section 34 is clearly the winner, but where can that be entered?

I hope you can help me with this.

I think you mean you have tried the option 'at the race end, all the drivers must finish their lap' (in the race setting) , right
So normaly the power is OFF when they reach the finish line, of course if your start line is near a corner and driver give full throttle at the last lap they have many chance to crash
But i understand your problem, i will see if i can find a solution
