Problems using rally race with multiple stages

Hi,

I am using PCLapCounter 5.05D with RaceControl Detector.

I set-up a multi stage rally race as described by guy in this thread.

I used 3 stages and 2 drivers and I do the following:

1. Set up race
2. Start race for 1st driver
3. After stage is finished I press rotate
4. Press "Neustart" to start race for 2nd driver
5 After stage is finished, I press rotate
6 Press "Neustart" to start 2nd stage for 1st driver.

Now this does not work as PCLapCounter expects the car to run on lane two, but as this is rally mode, I have just one lane...

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Diegu,

Multi stage is in fact a rallye race where each stage represent a different track , all track are connected to the computer and therefore each stage start on a different lane number.

I will see if i can improve the multi stage so you can start each stage always on lane 1.

thanks for the clarification.

So, now I know, it's no handling problem. Would be great, if you can extend the feature so I can use it for my purposes as well.

However, I can have an easy work-around for up to 4 stages by just switching detectors.

In version 5.08 i add a special button to overwrite lane number to 1, see here:

This is what you get when you generate heat for a rally race with multiple stages, second stage will use lane 2:


With the special button all the heats will use lane 1:
