Phidgets help with pc lap counter

Hi, I run a childrens charity and we have a 4 lane scalextric track using the scalextric rms. Having purchased pc lap counter i wonder if anyone could help us.

We wish to control power to 4 lanes and have start lights in sync with pc lap counter.

Firstly which phidget to get that will do this, the simpler the better

Secondly, would anyone help in supplying a wiring diagram on how to connect 5 LED lights to work with the software.

Update: Guy says I can use a 0/0/8 and 0/0/4 giving 12 relays, i presume each start light requires a relay. Is it simply a case of wiring an LED to each relay, or is that too simple
