12 Drivers on 4 lanes/cars track using heat editor exemple (with version 4.52):
1 - Choice your race type , lap limited or time limited 2 - It's better to force drivers to finish their lap at all segment to have a good final classement and also to make the starting grid more simple at each segment 3- Ask to generate heats
4 - Select the used lanes 5- Select the drivers and group drivers (to group click on the button ) 6- For each driver taking part of the race select his car and his fuel settings 7- Select the generate method , for "drivers race on all lanes" set also the rotation sequence
8 - Accept the heat editor screen , race settings is now updated and Pc Lap Counter display the drivers of the first segment/heat:
9 - Accept the race setting screen
FINISH
During the race click on the "Stat..." button to have the Drivers Classement.
REM: - Statistic board will be updated after the end of the race. - If you tick the general option "start race after detector" new driver entering into the race will have to start AFTER S/F line. - if you untick the option "start race after detector" new driver entering into the race will have to start BEFORE S/F line.

I have generated 5 segments each race is 2 laps. The first segment is ok. The car starts the ds bridge and we get 0, then 1 then the chequered flag. However when we start the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th race the lap counter assumes that car has completed a lap when it passes the ds bridge. Thius in the 2nd to 5th race the car only does one lap!? what am I doing wrong?

I test it with last version (version 4.50d) and it work fine, which version of Pc Lap Counter you use ?
Edit: Tick the option "false start detection" and also "false start also during restart" so PCLC will always consider that cars start before detector

Hi Guy
Really like the new options for generating heats etc. works beautifully
However have found one thing that is a bit frustrating - normally we use the software and ask for e.g. 1½ minutes intersegment after which PCL starts the race again - this works great and assures that all drivers have to hurry up a bit when changing lanes - much better than doing the restart manually.
BUT
When you generate e.g. 3 groups each consisting of 4 drivers, the program autostarts all heats after 1½ minutes - also when a group has completed their 4 heats and new drivers have to make their way to the track. For new drivers to take position and marshalls to prepare 1½ minute is not enough - would it not be possible to make the automated lane change for the group, but once e.g. group 1 has completed the new group has to be started manually?
Off course the manual start would only be for the first heat of that particular group, afterwards the lane change can be done automatically for the remaining part of that particular race ++
