What am I doing wrong?

I purchased WZT (standard) version.

Downloaded latest LapCounter version 5.21
Running Windows 7 Pro

Here is my setup:
What am I doing wrong? Triggerlane

WZT turns blue. I even did some screen captures to test it to make sure the camera is working properly.

It will not work. I am sure I am typing in something wrong?

Setup seem to be ok, i can't see clearly in your picture but the command to execute is C:\Pc Lap Counter\TriggerLane.exe
Also, have you at least started the race in Pc Lap Counter ?
Also , try with sensitivity to 2.3%

Yes that is what I have there.

Not sure. I installed it on an older laptop and works fine.

Then installed on a older PC, works fine.

I am thinking Win7 Pro is an issue.

Strange , i have also a win7 and no problem.
Maybe a permission problem, did your account have administrator right ? ,
It could be also a user account control problem, maybe you should also turn off the User Account control.

I turned that off.

Every time a car or my hand goes under it, the file box of the Pc Lap Counter software comes up.

I checked permissions and all seems ok?

it was system permissions.

Happy it work now , please can you share the solution : what did you change on your win7 exactly ?

Go into the Pc Lap Counter folder and find triggerlane.exe

Right click on the file and choose PROPERTIES

Then go to the SECURITY tab at top

Make sure you have full permissions checked for your user name.

You will know you do NOT have permissions if:

When the car goes under the camera and the FileBox containing the Pc Lap Counter Software pops up on the screen.
It is telling you a file is trying to be accessed.

I, too, am using WZT (Pro). When I first installed and started using PCLC on my Win 10 desktop, ir was functioning OK with the webcam detecting the car passing and counting laps. But lately, for some mysterious reason, I am now getting “Protocol Error” message when I start up PCLC and WZT. Prior to that, something weird seemed to be happening with the software. During a race, the lap timing would be working OK and laps are counted but midway through, something would activate the Refuelling sound (we were racing without Refuel activated). And then, on the next lap, the lap will not be counted.. Then on the lap after that, counting will resume. Can anyone please tell me what is wrong? Could I have unknowingly messed up the Settings somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
