Hi Guy

My english are not so good, but anyway!

I was hoping to use my SSD power unit to start the race and the software pclapcounter at the same time, but there is a problem! The SSD is counting down and starting, that’s ok! But the lapcounter haven’t even start counting down, its starts after the SSD race has began! Humm

This is because you use "false start detection", false start detection need that the cars start BEFORE the detector otherwise the program can not detect false start.

When "false start detection" is unchecked then the "start race after detector" is enabled and you can check it.
So, now did you check the option "start race after detector" Question

It's like the powerbase send the start information after his countdown, will see if i can capture the powerbase coutdown.
A work around is to set in the race setting of Pc Lap Counter the option 'start after' to zero (second tab page), so Pc Lap Counter will start the race in the same time but no countdown in Pc Lap Counter No
Concerning pit in detection with a second powerbase, did you set the SSD interface of Pc Lap Counter like this ? :
https://pclapcounter.forumotion.com/viewtopic.forum?t=91

To pitout just accelerate to exceed the value specify in "And generate Pitout when the throttle value exceed ...."

I check the protocol sended by the powerbase and the countdown is not sended by the powerbase, only start information is sended.
So it's not possible to have a countdown on the powerbase and in the same time the countdown of Pc Lap counter No
The only way to use Pc Lap Counter countdown is to use the powerbase like a simple detector who send car cross informations and let Pc lap Counter do all the race management, for exemple you can set the powerbase to make a race of 9999 laps and always start a race with Pc lap Counter.
Of course the best is to have also the power control, Pc Lap Counter can do it but with SSD you need to connect relay to hand controller (relay can be connected to the parellel port or to USB port with Phidget interface).
