Is Webcam Good Enough for Club Racing

I just setup PC Lap Counter yesterday with Webcam and the Zone Trigger software. How well is everyone else liking this setup? Does everyone think it is possible to get it working well enough so that it will not miss laps or count extra laps? Last night while I was working on it and tweaking everything I got it so it was working better and better. However, it seems that if I had a club race on my track it could create havoc (having a bunch of people running around the track etc.) with the webcam counter and it just simply wouldn't be precise enough.

We just started using Zone Trigger 2 on our secondary track (Light bridges are back ordered at the moment). The Demo Worked SO well, we are ordering the full version of the software. The demo works great, so give it a try. We found that if you set the zone trigger to about 10%, it eliminates all falses, and catches the car at full speed. We are using a QuickCam 4000, it's about 4 years old, and it works great. I would suggest at least a 1.8ghz processor, at least 512 megs of ram. Again, the more the better in these specs.
