Is it posible to use LPT port with the interface

Hi Guy, I've a question for you:
Someone is asking me if it is posible to use LPT's port of an old notebook to conect to Ole's interface.
He is usinng a db25 to db9 converter but doesn't succeed in to conect (always 'waiting signal from SCX Digital').

I think that using lpt port, he will not be able to set a Com port and then, he will not be able to conect to the interface and PCLC.
Is that right?

I confirm , it's not possible to use Ole's interface using LPT port, Ole interface must be connected to a serial port (COM).
