detection on ssd digital at start of race

I am looking for an answer hopfully someone can help?
PC LAP COUNTER is all set up and works fine with one car on the track and when car passes ssd digital power control , the ssd shows car id of one, all good.My dramma is when i have two cars on the track for a race start , it brings up the fist car to hit the control line as car 1 even if it is actually car two and as car one the passes just behind it at the start it wont register it at all or registers it as car two when it is actually car 1 . the ssd digital will finally get the car id right after about two laps but by this time depending what its done, the car running second can be 2 laps infront on pc lapcounter.I purchased a new digital convertion pack with the whole kit/2 cars controllers and what not set it up and used the two cars from the kit to see if my car ids were playing up on my v8's and it did exactly the same, race car one for two laps and then stop ,race car two and as it passes the start line, the ssd highlights it as car one when it is infact car 2.I thought it may be meaning position but checked and it is supposed to be the car id.it also gets it right after about 2 laps and finally gets the id right.Im not keen to let four cars loose ,who knows what will happen.Has anyone else encountered this problem?and

I don't think it's a problem in Pc Lap Counter, many people use Pc Lap Counter with SSD digital track and actualy i never had a mail with this kind of problem.
Just to know...which version of Pc Lap Counter did you use ?
I suggest you post in www.slotforum.com, in that forum many specialist are talking about SSD digital so i think they can answer you if there is a problem with your track or not

Maby a stupid question but are you driving over the powerbase in the right direction? I turned my second powerbase other way around (its a pit in indikator and it was no place to have it the right way) and then i got som very suspicious problems whith the car id The car has to be identified before it brakes the beam that count the laps... Just a thought
