Race view settings

Hi Guy

We have done a lot of testing with our PCLapcounter software + bought the phidget interface kits (should arrive during this week)

But we are struggeling with one thing

During a race, the drivers are sorted based on their best lap time - this can be quite confusing as this changes a lot during a race - is there a way to fix the drivers in the table e.g.:

1. blue lane
2. yellow lane
3. white lane
4. red lane

That the driver name/details etc. are always placed in the same position on the screen based on the lane they are driving?

In fact drivers are sorted against :
- Number of laps for a race
- Best Lap time for a qualify or practice session.

If you prefer that drivers are not sorted i suggest you use the zoom (large display), more information about zoom here :

already looked through those instructions, but was thinking more in line of making your own info visible . e.g. we run lap based races, so would be nice if it could show how many laps either run or remaining

I can't seem to find an instruction on doing such things - or is that not possible at all?

I am testing the version 4.45 right now, but as far as I can see there is still no possibility to totally customize my layout is this correct?

Was thinking in line of being able to chose what information is available on the screen - editing text in the actual message boxes etc.

For a lap limited race the problem was that the remaining laps was not display, version 4.45 now display that information (in place of segment time left), like here:



Maybe in next version i will add the possibility to select the information you want see (visibile or not) but i can't add all the information that you have in the main screen of Pc Lap Counter because of the performance.
Don't forget that i made the zoom display for drivers and not for spectator and i think that all information that driver need is already there.
