| I got a PC lap counter system with a kit that have phidgtes interfaces 0/16/16 and 0/0/4, plus lights and button and the track sensors, but no wiring diagram and it's not working properly. Can anyone help with this? Phidgets interfaces | |

| Not an easy answer because you left out a whole lot of information. General Phidget wiring has 2 concepts depending on if your wiring a Inbound or Outbound device. Check with Phidget web site for samples on your board. It makes no difference what the device is Switch, Sensor, LED as far as the Phidget is concerned, what is paramount is if its sending a signal into the computer (Inbound - Timing Sensor, Track Call button) or the computer is sending a signal out (Outbound - a Start Light) to your device. Each circuit has 3 elements (1) The device, (2) a power source (5-30vdc), (3) The correct (In or Out) pin on the Phidget. Simply stated: Power supply - (-) lead to any "G" pin, (+) lead to one side of Device. Device - One lead to (+) terminal of power, other lead to the control Pin on the Phidget. As for the Device wiring things are more specific, Track sensors is not enough information unless already assembled into their own circuit (DS light bridge), so I'll await more information before commenting further about specifics.
