blinking lights only after track call [done v5.00c]

Guy, first have many thanks for the quick implementation of blinking (external) starting lights. This is great!!!

As indicated here I'd like to suggest a small modification w.r.t. the starting lights - in particular the external ones.

I'm referring to the to the setup, where all lights are switched on or blink, when there's a race pause.
At the moment all lamps are swithed on (or blink), when there's no power on the track. This means this is not only the case after a track call, when the race is paused. The lights are also switched on before and after a race and before and after each segment. I'd like it very much, that the switched on or blinking lights would inidcate an emergency situation only, i.e. that they are not switched on or blink in inter-segement pauses or outside a race.

Guy - do you think, that would be possible?

Agreed.... would love only the Yellow (1,2,3,4,5,6) to blink during a track call.... leave stop and go alone and keep the yellows off during inner segment and when a race is over (They still need to come on during a countdown though!)

Done in version 5.00, if you set the blink option then the countdown lights will blink only when you ask a power OFF with a external button or by clicking on the "Power OFF" button of PCLC.

Well - either I made something wrong or this modifcation was not exactly, what I was after. And I guess it depends a bit on what one understands as a track call and what power on/off means.

Let me maybe explain, how our races are done normally, what is considered a track call there and where we'd expect the lights blinking:

- prior to race start (no lights blinking - no lights on)
- we start a race -> countdown lights are switched on after each other, race starts when no lights are on
- TRACK CALL in case of an accident etc. -> race is paused by pressing space bar (time is paused, no power, all lights blinking, please)
- if power on is necessary -> press "Power on" (still all lights blinking, but power on)
- if power off is pressed afterwards -> (still all lights blinking, but power off)
- end of track call -> countdown is started by pressing return twice -> countdown lights as at the beginning of the race
- end of segment -> only power off automatically (no lights on nor blinking, please)

- begin of next segment -> countdown lights as at the very beginning

- end of last segment/end of race -> only power off automatically (no lights on nor blinking, please)

Unfortunately it seems that PCLC has a different inerpretation of a track call w.r.t. to blinking lights. There only during explicit power off phases the lights are blinking, whilst I think it would be right to have them blinking during all real pause phases, i.e. within a race but not in the times between segments and not prior to/after the race.

What do you think?

You totaly right, next version will do it properly (blink only if you pause the race in the middle of a segment)

Maybe another (small) thing in this context, which I tested also today with my new DS300 (remote control). When using the DS "Pause" button to pause and to restart the race (after) a pause, the lights do blink as expected and of course they stop before the race is continued (using "Pause" button of DS) . But perhaps it would be nice also to have countdown lights, as it is the case when continuing the race using "return" key.

Thanks anyway - the combination of countdown and blinking lights is just wonderful!
