HELP, Problem and not sure what is causing it Empty
PostSubject: HELP, Problem and not sure what is causing it   HELP, Problem and not sure what is causing it Empty27/10/2006, 21:57

I just redid my layout and now am running 95 ft of track.
I use RMS and a variable power supply
Running PC Lap Counter

Here is where the problem lies.
After I redid my layout I started getting phantom laps. When lane 1 car was 1/2 way around the track it might set off the counter for lane 2, or for lane 1. Since RMS counter is a mechanical switch I am seeing no reason for it happening. I took the rms apart and everything looks like it is in OK condition and working properly. Is there something in PC Lap Counter that could be messing up? or maybe it is something with my track?

Anyone have any ideas?

Matt

Sorry for late response , did you have still the problem ?
For me there is a problem with your RMS detector because there is no reason that Pc Lap Counter generate phantom laps.
cheers
